Hello!

What is a proper position of SNP L940?

On Thomas Krahn Draft
That SNP is under M346 (Q1a3)
- negative for L54 (?)

and "father" of New branches:
- L527, L529, L639
- L932-L939

On Haplo Q project main page
L940 lies on the same level with L932-L939
and next to: L527, L529, L639

What chart is correct?
Is that position confirmed by other SNP tests?

If T.Krahn draft is proper so L940 can be interesting branch!

Unfortunately, I don't see how we can figure that out. The administrator of the Q Project is on vacation for the next several months, and she did not enable the ability to see SNP results within her project. :(

Larry!
Maybe you can check the WTY chromats results for L932-L942 sample?
(#N22947 from Scotland)
and see his results for: M3, L54, L527-L529, L717, L718

And check the last Q-Haplo WTY results for SNPs L932-942:
Q-M346 #N24383 from America-USA (L527-L529)
Q-M346 #N61141 from India (L717-L718)
Q-L53 #48315 from England (L804-L808)
Q-M3 #N48159 from North America-New Mexico (L766-L767)
Q-M3 #N14781 from South America-Guatemala (L883-L887)
Q-M3 #N77270 from North America-USA (L888-L893)

There is a WTY-Q summary by David Reynolds from October 2011 (up to L808).

Also, you may find some information here.

Apparently, L932-L942 are not at the same level.

Thoman Krahn's tree is the correct and most up to date Tree. L940 is a branch under M346 that is the father of both the new L938 group and the Scandinavian L527 group. Yes, they are negative for L54 since L54 is below L53, which this entire group is negative for.
